here's the guidelines to writing your report of your fieldtrip to Sungei Buloh.

Report on Sungei Buloh

Information Report (Due 14/02/07, Wednesday – no extension of deadline, 2 marks deducted everyday for late submission)

- Write an article reporting on your fieldtrip to Sungei Buloh. The purpose of this report is to prepare next year’s Secondary Two students before their trip there.

- Remember to include :
o What can be found there ( e.g. types of flora and fauna)
o Things to expect ( e.g. mosquitoes)
o Preparation needed before the trip
o Benefits / knowledge gained from the trip
o A short reflection by every member of the group ( 80 words each)
o Pictures with relevant captions (minimum 3)
o Suitable headings / organization of the report

- Type – written (400 words, not including personal reflections)

Breakdown of Assessment

Content – 10 m
Language – 12 m
Presentation – 8 m

hello everyone

I have not had the time to read through everyone's blogs. However, out of those that I have seen, I would like to comment that some of you really did put in the effort to write. Good job! As to those who have yet to do substantial writing, you better start soon or you are going to have a hard time trying to reach the target that I have set.

To those students who have seen me in school recently, I am actually quite amused to note that some of you seemed very shocked to see my new hair. In fact, I think a few of you actually dropped your jaws. Haha :) Yes, it is quite a change from my usual look. :P

By the way, if you want to post any comments or write to me via this site, please feel free to do so. Oh, I would like to remind all of you to complete your holiday homework early. I believe that there's a fair bit of work assigned and if you are thinking of finishing it just before your holiday ends, you might not be able to complete it well. Remember, time really flies when you are enjoying yourself. Two weeks of your school break has passed! Shocking, isn't it?

Another note, if you happen to see me while I'm out alone or with my baby, please Do Not shout out my name loudly. If you want, you can just wave, or come up and say hi or hello. There's no need to announce my name to everyone within earshot, ok? :P
